“Lose My Mind” to screen at Chicago Reel Festival

Travis Labella’s new music video for Rotimi, “Lose My Mind”, is part of the official selection of films being shown at the Chicago International Reel Shorts Festival on September 19th. But if you can’t make it, don’t worry. We’ll have an online release for the video soon.
Meanwhile, Travis is gearing up to slip back into the role of DP for a new short called “Jack-O-Lanterns” that will be shot on Super 16. Look out for “Jack-O-Lanterns” in June 2011.

The video I directed for The Hood Internet and Kid Static premiered last night. It’s a little spoof on Chicago’s failed Olympic bid. Take a look.

July Updates

Well, the site is finally up and running. We should probably come up with a name for our new mascot. No, Ollie is not in the running. In the meantime, Lutraphobe has been keeping busy.
Chris is about to start pre-production on a new video for Rotimi’s new song “Forever.” He’s also finishing up the edit on “Nude,” a new short.
Jason just shot a pilot for Cook County Social Club, an critically-acclaimed improv group at Chicago’s Improv Olympic.
Ryan is about to fly to Shanghai with Project Green Apple to direct another spot for them. His new video for The Hood Internet is also about to premiere in the coming weeks.
Travis is currently wrapping up Rotimi’s most recent video, “Lose My Mind”, that will hopefully be online by the end of the month.
Katie just finished production designing a new short entitled “Almighty Uptown” in Chicago. It is scheduled for release at the end of the summer.
Alex is putting the final touches on a new video for The Victory Gins that he directed.
Nick was recently hired to DP an environmental documentary shooting in Chiapas, Mexico from September to January 2011.
Jac is in pre-production for a new documentary she’s directing on an indian reservation in South Dakota.
